2017 - December 2nd Fenton Family Food Drive
Please join the employees of The Fenton Family Dealerships in their annual Holiday Food Drive. We have been very fortune to have this fabulous group of individuals run a Food Drive each year to help out those in need.

The drive will run Saturday, December 2nd from 9AM to 2PM at the following stores: Hannaford, Market Basket, Monadnock Food Co-op and Price Chopper. We will have individuals at each location accepting food and monetary donations. These volunteers will have shopping lists available if you need suggestions for the items The Community Kitchen needs to fill the Holiday boxes.

Huge Support for Fenton Family Food Drive 2016

The 2016 Fenton Family Community Food drive was a huge success!! We collected over 6300 lbs of food and $2500 in donations for The Community Kitchen! Thank you to all of our volunteers, 98.7 WINK COUNTRY, KNE FM , our Monadnock Regional High School student volunteers and most importantly everyone in the community that donated to such a great cause!

Around the city other companies were busy. The staff at Target didn't want to be left out of the food drive ... so they donated cans of vegetables, stuffing and potatoes! Keene Knights Youth Football caught up with us at Hannaford's and donated to the food drive!

Moms On A Mission - 1000 Cans in 1000 Minutes

Moms on a Mission, Keene, is a volunteer group of 8 local moms who responded to The Community Kitchen's recent request in October for help to replenish their pantry. Their goal of 1000 cans in 1000 minutes was easily squashed by Sunday November 13th! 3500 cans had already been collected and the event had not even taken place!

At that point the ladies changed their goal to 20,000 cans on November 19th the actual day of the Food Drive. That evening they had collected 25,860 cans of food for the Kitchen. This amazing group: Bethany Priest, Dorrie O’Meara, Jennifer English, Amie Ayotte, Christine Yardley, Joanne Desrosiers, Jennifer Pratt and Robin Harris are the fabulous moms who created this Fundraiser.

The Kitchen is so grateful to the Moms on a Mission, all who donated food, all who helped sort and all who helped Andrea and Phoebe from The Community Kitchen get it back to our building on Mechanic Street. Many, many thanks!

Bulldog Community Day
On October 1st as part of the Grand Opening of their new location on Winchester St. in Keene, BULLDOG DESIGN chose a way to celebrate their wonderful customers and clients by offering a free Bulldog signature Tee shirt for everyone bringing in a canned good for The Community Kitchen.

The results were 425 pounds of food! $264 donated by our community!! Not bad for a days work!!!

Pictured above is Wayne delivering the food collected at Bulldog Design's Community Day on Saturday. Wayne is Karli's dad! Have we told you how much we love the Bulldog crew!
