Cans In The Colonial Was a Great Success!
The Community Kitchen was excited to be included in the first annual Cans in the Colonial event in May. The Peak radio station hosted the event that raised over $6,000 and 1,500 pounds of food. People were asked to donate $20 to place a bag of groceries on a seat in the Colonial Theatre right on Main Street in Keene. For a first attempt we think the event was a rousing success and the plans are in place for next year! Grateful thanks are due to Pete Case of the Peak.
