This year’s Local Harvest Dinner was a huge success! It was held at The Community Kitchen which allowed us to showcase our recent renovations. Wine and appetizers were enjoyed upstairs in our newly reconstructed warehouse; complete with a new floor compliments of Carlisle Wide Plank Flooring. Chefs Megan Driscoll, Rodney Hall, Sarah Harpster, Matt Wiltanger with the help of Evan Busch, outdid themselves once again with a delicious dinner of Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, or Imam Bayildi.
Major sponsors for the evening were The Brewers of Nye Hill Farm, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Savings Bank of Walpole, UPS, Hannaford and DEW Construction Corp. The Dinner raised over $15,000.00 and all proceeds went toward the purchase of a much needed cargo van!
We were also fortunate to receive two Grant applications as well as a large anonymous donation and many individual donations. All combined, over $30,000 was raised to purchase our wonderful new van! To all those who attended the dinner or contributed in any way to the event and/or our van fund, we thank you. We really couldn’t have done it without you!
