Mutual Funds
Take advantage of appreciated securities without incurring capital gains tax.
You transfer securities to the The Community Kitchen and we sell your securities, using the proceeds for important hunger-relief programs.
For routing information please contact Barb Weisman at bweisman@thecommunitykitchen.org if you’re making a donation of stock, alerting her to the gift. Many stock transfers don’t include the donor’s name or contact information, so the gift shows as anonymous when it arrives.

By including a charitable bequest in your estate plan, you not only create a lasting legacy but also become an integral part of The Community Kitchen’s mission to alleviate hunger in our region, ensuring that your values of compassion and generosity continue to make an impact long after you are gone; this thoughtful act allows you to inspire others to join in the fight against food insecurity, helping us nourish those in need and fostering a stronger, healthier community for future generations.
Please consult with your attorney and financial advisor to discuss your wishes.
Hold Your Own fundraiser
Nicholas Ball – owner, CEO and staff of Nick’s Famous Lemonade Stand raised a jaw dropping $1,372 but Nick doesn’t like uneven numbers so he personally rounded it up to $1,400! This money was used to buy food for the Kid’s part of the Community Kitchen’s Pantry Program during summer vacation.
Host a Food Drive
Hosting a food drive is a meaningful way to bring your community together in the fight against hunger and make a real difference for those in need in the Monadnock Region. By gathering friends, colleagues, or local organizations, you can collect vital food items for families facing food insecurity. Whether it’s a neighborhood event, workplace initiative, or school challenge, your drive can inspire others to join in and show that, together, we can create compassion that nourishes our community. Join us at The Community Kitchen, and let’s turn your desire to help into impactful change.
Hosting a food drive is easy and fun! Set up a collection bin at your school, work, church, apartment complex—anywhere people gather. Spread the word to coworkers, classmates, friends, and neighbors to fill the bin with donations. Once it’s full, bring it to The Community Kitchen!

Kids Collect Food
Children are sometimes the biggest donors! Even though they are young, they give of their time and from the heart. Let’s take Oscar’s lead and create your own food drive for The Community Kitchen!
Our young Hero, Oscar, has done his Jelly Drive for TCK for the three years and 2025 will be his fourth as he is joined by his brother, Milo. Thank you Oscar and Milo!

Your Donation Goes A Long Way
With The Help Of The NH Food Bank.
Even with all of the donations of food, additional purchases are still a necessary part of doing business. The NH Food Bank, USDA, local business and other discount food services help make it possible for The Community Kitchen to purchase food within our limited budget. We are proud to say that with the support of people like you, we are able to provide food at a reduced cost per meal.
