Volunteer
The staff and volunteers of The Community Kitchen work every day in this vital service to help people facing food insecurity – not getting enough to eat.
The Community Kitchen could use more volunteers, whether it is an individual, a group of neighbors or members of an organization. We truly are thankful for every person who volunteers. We couldn’t do it without you!
The Community Kitchen has been serving the Monadnock Region for 40 years. It’s a monumental task that involves coordinating with staff, volunteers and food suppliers. There is a heavy demand for their services – at least one in ten people in Cheshire County go hungry every day.
Simply call 603/352-3200 to find out how you can join the team at The Community Kitchen.
Working every day to build food security in the Monadnock Region.
Join our force of Volunteers
We are very fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers and always look forward to having new volunteers join us. If you call and we are not able to schedule you right away, please don’t be discouraged, we typically book at least a month ahead.
Take a moment to think about your neighbors… many of us take food and daily necessities for granted, but for some it’s not that simple. Come volunteer and show how much you care, there’s never a better time to start than now.
Whatever you can give, we are genuinely appreciative of your efforts. Volunteering can change your life. After you’ve seen TCK’s operations, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Make a donation, join a food drive, deliver food boxes, volunteer your time….. individuals, families, work groups and civic organizations are encouraged to reserve time to help make a difference this year by calling (603) 352-3200. We can answer your questions, schedule volunteer time and provide an informational tour of our facility.
